Not wanted to finish this book, even though I'm close to the end, because I was really enjoying it! A little slow to start, but then the pace and feel of the book changes quite a lot. Something happens towards the end that really moved me and was quite unexpected!

This is free on audible. Good retelling of everest and K2 summits as well as key people Whittacker (who I'd never heard of before, not being American) had got to know and other events in his life. Sometimes wish there was more reflection on how mountain climbing made him feel as it must be his passion. Skipped the intro as it felt quite dense.

Taking a while to get through this due to having to have someone read it to me (mostly mum, who struggles to read aloud without falling asleep!)
Good adventure though.
Nice to have pictures. Would be even better if they were in colour.

Excellent. Wide variety of musical artists included. Some humour. Some quite reflective.

Got a bit better. Meanders between Wes+ Nadine's personal experiences at work, home +together +Dot's experiences and them finding clues in the house.

The author is pushing herself way too hard on this walk - I know she wants to win, but it feels like she's on the path to what the Internet now calls 'unaliving' with the extent she is pushing herself, constant lack of water, not eating enough, scolding herself for sleeping etc. Not really in to it.

It's alright. Some interesting parts and have learnt a bit, although some of it seems to have taken place quite a while ago and it's not always clear when (what year or decade) it took place. It's a bit longer than my usual books. Currently free on audible. Narration is a little muffled.

This has got a bit weird, to say the least. Cats being able to do human things, humans turning in to cats. A philosophising cat. And then there is a murder mystery which sometimes feels forgotten about. Not really in to it. Free on audible until 31/12.

This book was pretty good, but the last 40mins of it have really gripped me! There's been a clever, unexpected sort of twist. I've got 8 minutes left and don't want to finish it because it's that good (but I do really want to know what happens) if you see what I mean! It's a sort of mystery+ seems like 2 of the characters which didn't seem to be a major part are now a vital key...One of these is a cat...

Not really enjoying this. Even though it's quite short, I might not finish it.

It's got really quite emotional and so difficult to listen to. Didn't expect this really as it was funny at the start.

She's only just beginning her travels at 55% through the book, unfortunately. Skimmed through the audiobook so far. May return to it at some point.
