I’m coming from a very graphic novel heavy background. Two chapters in and I feel the same energy as the first chapter of Neil Gaimen’s Sandman. The first two chapters do a good job of making it accessible for the reader to establish the world we have stepped into and the journey we are about to embark on with our protagonist.

I just bought this from an old bookshop and its refreshing to read something from the 90's. I remember reading an issue from this even back in the early 2000's and it wasn't making any sense. Looking forward to more 90's nostalgia

Okay that was unexpected. Its like endgame again with the joker toxin replaced with the seed. Its like John Carpenter's the thing and all the mechs are lose so it's looking to be some sort of pacific rim knockoff. Not a bad thing IMHO.

So, it seems Rookie wasn't going to live too long. Most of my love for this current storyline was because of him.

And it also seems they can never be done with the joker. Like he's been there in every story after court of owls. Why can't they ever be done with him?

Let's see what other surprises they have in store.

The more I read it. The more I want this to be an Animated DC movie. It would make such an amazing movie.

Read the first issue last night. It was a bold move by DC and writer Scott Snyder to give a fresh new perspective to what a corporate batman would be like. And for the most part I'm loving it so far. Plus this new mech suit with the bunny ears reminds me of D.Va's mech from Overwatch.

This book just took me by surprise. I thought it might be Neil Gaimen's usual supernatural stuff but this is a fairly lighthearted book.

I enjoyed the story so far. But one thing i cant get out of my head while reading through how similar it feels to hawkeye. Like david aja's version of Danny Rand looks so much like Clint Barton from his hawkeye series its nauseating. at certain time it just feels like im reading a much serious version of matt fractions hawkeye series.

2 chapters in and I'm hooked to the point that I don't want to take a break. I just want to keep reading. Soo much nostalgia here and I'm all about nostalgia.
