Just want to flag this book for child abuse rape and domestic abuse, though it’s not shoe horned in and is relevant for the plot - I feel it’s important people are aware. A 13 year old having sex with an adult, whether they think they understand it or not, is abuse.
Thus far a really finding the book interesting - especially the Elizabethan section.
