I’ll update when I’m finished but I have to get this out of my head now. The main characters are a 5’10” woman and a 6’3” man. This is FREQUENTLY alluded to in terms of them being extremely tall, and having a hard time sitting at booths together, and several other mentions. My husband and I are those exact heights and we’ve NEVER had issues sitting in a booth together….

DNF at 20%. I’m bored and the story is going nowhere. I’m sure the “obvious” thing isn’t true but don’t even care enough to find out.

Neat book for the 8-12 year old boy crowd - like Percy Jackson but with science instead of mythology. An everyday kid winds up gaining control over gravity, gains two sidekicks, and ultimately has to defeat a bunch of bad guys all using various powers of scientific manipulation.

Out-of-shape newspaper columnist Mattie unwillingly gets coerced into training for the Chicago Marathon, coached by none other than the twin brother of the ex-fiancé who had stood her up at the altar. Read it practically in one-sitting, and hoped it'd rejuvenate my own lagging running mojo. Predictable, super-quick, light read lacking any literary depth but fun nonetheless.
