I finished Killer on the Road, the longer of the two stories in this. Wow he can do a great ending.

I love her writing. And this book is creepy and making me feel a little yuck. But I also just kind of want it to be over. It’s taking its time, and I think it might have made a better novella length.

This is super page-turning and has literally made me tear up twice, but also, I’m really confused that it took the very intelligent characters this long to figure out a huge thing that seemed very obvious. In some ways this is one of my favorite Karin Slaughter books, but a few things seem lazy.

I’m burying this so deep in my freezer right now.

I’ve really enjoyed the other three Alice Feeney books I’ve read, but I’m struggling with this one. I do not understand the male lead’s actions at all. Hoping it gets exciting soon.

Probably my least favorite Alice Feeney book so far…

I’ve been wanting to try Frieda McFadden for a while, but I’m not digging her writing style so far.

I’ve wanted this book to be over for a while now. I’m wishing more of it were storyline before we got to the what happened, idk, we’ll spend 150 plus pages trying to puzzle it out, section. I enjoyed the start of the book quite a bit.
