Wow— listening, read by the author which adds so much to the narrative, everyone should read this book—Important and well written

Beautiful writing? Maybe but also slow, repetitive. Started skipping forward and didn’t miss anything. It’s been sitting in my shelf for a year— back it goes. Disappointing.

I picked this up as a way you reach my reading goal and am blown away— beautiful, haunting, inventive, personal and universal.

What a wonderful little book.

Just about to quit at the car crash, seems like external, contrived plot points keep getting thrown in. Would be so much better if focused more on character development. 1
