I am enjoying this book. It's an early release, so I am limited to reading it on my Kindle, which I read on my phone Kindle App. But because the story is so good, This will be a must have for Grisham fans. It's got all the elements of a great John Grisham story, death, wealth, naivete, lawyers on opposing sides, complacent assistants, greasy spoons, etc. It's got it all. I understand this is to be released in Oct. 25

From start to the point where I am in the book, John has not disappointed. It's a challenge to find a good read. I'm glad I was able to get an advanced copy. This book will be released to the public in October 2025. Or was it November? Eitherway, the story is engaging, entertaining, informative and it has all the dynamics we have come to expect from John Grisham books. Thanks, John.

Again, I am thankful to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book before it is released in October 2025. So far, so good. I noticed I have been mixing themes with the other book I am 7 pages from completing, David Baldacci's Long Road to Mercy. But the two books are dissimilar. In The Widow, the central characters are Nettie, the Widow, her original lawyer who wrote her a bogus will and her current lawyer.

I am not sure why I can't upload the one book of this six book collection. I will not read all six. I just want to account for the one I am reading.

I am finding this an interesting read. Most of it doesn't apply to me, but there are some things I have shared with others.

At the end of the book, with 20 pages left, after the court decision was made, and there were no appeals, the book's climax was revealed. There was no reason to continue reading for the final 20 pages. I didn't enjoy this book. But I finished it.
