Ch15 for me was mostly unnecessary gibberish. This book is so good at points. But i literally had to skim ch15. Too much unnecessary place naming and over description of a travel method etc. Made the chapter extremely exhausting, frustrating, and frankly uninteresting to read. I have no desire to read page after page of place names and turns and angles and corners. Lord.

At this point I am reading page after page after page of weird names of places... and it is just going into my head as absolute gibberish. Hua shan, sung shan, t'ai shan, p'u-t'o shan, Wu-t'ai Shan, jo-kung, Hsuan-k'ung Ssu, Chiu-hua Shan, Gunung Agung, kilimachaggo, mt Kalais Demchog.... wtf Dan Simmons... this series is amazing at times but right now i just want to flush these pages down the toilet.
