I think my first book in French in years, and it felt like fate that this edition states on it's (gorgeous) cover the motto "un acte de traduction est toujours un acte de trahison".

Hoping to finish it before Christmas l, but it's such an heavy read I have to take breaks.

Okay okay it's slightly better now, Caz talking some sense is soothing my rage at Kiela's stupidity.

Girl I'm tired, you just made the connection that the Empire has fallen, there is no one to uphold the laws, and yet not even two pages later you're "hiding that you broke imperial law".
Are you half brain dead or something ?


Seriously this point is sucking all the fun out of reading this for me, please let go of the "breaking imperial law" thing.
