I really want to like this book, and its not grabbing me. I've been thinking about it, and I think that while the book has such strong characters in the members of the band, that we spend so much time reacting to the crappiness of the world, that we never get the character moments we actually want. The best part of the book so far is in the beginning when Clay is talking to Gabe, and then tally catching frogs.

Oh lord Adolin's duel is awesome.
