So many other books taking precedence over this read, largely not because the book is bad or boring or anything, just that it is SO big and involved, that I often find myself switching over to knock out another book quickly, and then coming back to this one and trying to figure out what is going on again.

Rereading for a sf&f book group discussion. I've read a number of times before, but it never fails how completely & immediately engrossing and immersive this book is. So well written. Yeah it has an issue here and there, but still one of my all time favorite books and solid 5 out of 5 star read.

It's not that I haven't enjoyed this, but it hasn't grabbed me much yet, so found myself wondering to other books. I've read 5 other books since starting this while reading a bit here or there. I must say one scene I just read where Kaladin finds himself in a trap where his powers are removed surrounded by a bunch of Warforms & a gloating Fused and takes them all down with just his fighting skills was KICK ASS!

Good and I'm liking it, but... Just not as much as the previous books. So far. Sanderson has done this to me before though -- where he ends up hitting the ball out of the park for a grand slam near the end of the novel. Have a way to go until I see if that happens here. But so far an enjoyable read is nothing to sneer at.

Going to have to start this book all over again when I finally finish. It has lots of good stuff in it, but I am basically at the point where maybe the first 3rd is what I really need to concentrate on. That being said reading this has been both inspiring and though provoking and re-reading it again I think will only help drive everything home.

It took a little longer to get into this story for me than it did with the Pandora's Star and Judas Unchained story line. So far the Void series, set farther in the future in the Commonwealth's history, is even more complex and detailed, but as a result, once I got my bearings, I am finding the universe addictive and more amazing than the first 2 books.

Amazing so far. Don't want to put it down. World building is excellent, heart plotting, characters good to really good, and the illustrations wonderful. Really find yourself enthralled by a truly magical but also very real world.

Kind of "meh" so far. The female protagonist at first seems to break the mold of the male dominated fiction of the era, but MUCH of the story and even that female.lead's thoughts or actions stick to the gender stereotypes of the time.

This story is awesome. Liking it MUCH more than Doyle's first, mostly as you see much more of both Holmes' and Watson's characters, fleshing them out quite nicely. Some of Watson's narration I have found very "real and heart felt". 4 out of 5 so far.

Enjoying this so far, though no major take aways from it yet. Interesting, entertaining look at 2 things I enjoy with a different perspective that I find intriguing.
