Part 2 is supposed to redeem the book. I arrived at part 2 so we will see. But honestly nothing can redeem this poor writing

Why am I still reading this….

There’s this Italian landscaper that now has warned her like 3 times. He DOESN’T say who or what the danger is but she is convinced it’s the wife. This woman jumps to conclusions like it’s an Olympic sport. If it were, she’d win. Anyway, in the earlier chapters she’s like “I could always use a translator app” then 30% into the book she still hasn’t and is like “If only he could speak English”

How is it that everybody is raving about this book?!?!

Millie be like: “ I would never go for her husband, she doesn’t have anything to worry about” times 10 and then in the same breath “the tissue he gave me smells like his aftershave” or how his sexy muscles show through his undershirt 🙄

Mildly irritated, maybe I’m being petty but

P59 “ “Well ……it does get awfully stuffy up there” It doesn’t actually get stuffy — the attic is drafty, if anything”
P75 “ Especially because my bedroom is so unbearably stuffy”

“I’ve been doing everything I can to look as unattractive as I possibly can” and lists: a bun or ponytail, baggy clothes and no makeup. What is up with that?
