Difficult to finish as I find it strange that the author had to mention that the main character, Clementine, has a well-stamped or well-worn passport sooo many times. This also indicates that she is well travelled, but even that was mentioned redundantly. It could've been injected in conversations instead and the readers are smart enough to deduce that from context. I also knew how it would end the moment Iwan cooked
