In a few days I start full time work in a new profession. I am starting from scratch so learning will be intense. I have 2 subjects I'm doing for my university degree & work to do on a certificate III in dental assisting to finish. I am also finally trying to lose the weight I've gained recently. So between working out, a new full time job, uni work & certificate III work I am gonna be swamped. No time for reading :(

Still not reading much. I wouldn't say it's a slump. Because I know what that's like and this isn't it. More like, I'm just not in the mood and I am busy watching and catching up on some tv shows, hangin out with my dogs and partner, looking for a new job, I have a heap of study coming up again as semester 2 begins....blah blah. Just focusing on some other stuff. I miss reading but I try to keep up with bookish news.

Kinda not reading as much at the moment, just finished my exams for uni and have a few weeks off before semester 2 starts but I still want to play some video games and I've been enjoying just watching new tv shows in between looking for a new job and studying. I'll get back to it eventually!

Currently writing an essay for uni at the moment so no time to read really, which sucks. But only a few more weeks till the bulk of it is over (and then I have an exam + my certificate III work + normal work). But seriously I have no spare money to buy more books atm anyway...good excuse to get through my tbr pile I guess... when I can get to it finally.

I mean... Peter V. Brett just has a way of sucking me in. This story just keeps getting better and better.

Also, I study a diploma and bachelors degree and work 5 days a week so sometimes I need a little break from reading on top of reading on top of reading. But anyway, can't wait to get my books in the mail and get back to reading for pleasure (just in time for uni to start again too haha)...

I have not fallen off the face of the planet, I have just taken an extremely rare break from reading for the first few months of 2018. This does happen every few years, where I decide to focus on other things for a little it until my craving for reading gets really strong and I start picking up books again. Which is definitely happening, I have a few orders making their way to me now and can't wait to dive back in.

Merry Christmas everyone! It's Christmas morning here in Australia so I doubt I'll get any reading done here today but this book is still amazing and I hope everyone gets plenty of books and has a safe and happy Christmas!

I mean....Peter V. Brett does it again. 100 pages in and I am already sucked back into the story being like ohhh my god this is soon good.

Rereading this series already because I love them so much and I've been in a super weird mood with books right now and this is the only thing keeping my attention.
