Rereading this confirms that Leslie Jamison is probablyyyyy (?) my favourite writer. No one makes me feel quite as seen as she does

His way of blending the "real" and the "fake" is nothing short of masterful. This is a reread and I'm still blown away by it

Reading this is like watching a Netflix show everyone's raving about and you desperately want to prove them wrong by not liking it but then it turns out it's as good as everyone says it is

46 pages in, and I get it wowwww 😭 His writing is brilliant and his sense of time and place is incredible. It's dense so it'll take me a while to read but phewee I'm going to enjoy this
