i've never felt the need to update where i'm at with any sort of feedback before, but this book is really striking me in such a unique way... at this point, nearly halfway through, i am so impressed. i'm feeling so much. this is without a doubt my favorite book in the series thus far. "all these years, he hadn't known what his brother had sacrificed for him, how tremblefist loved him" SOBBING

i've found myself in a sudden reading slump, so, of course, i'm going back to one of the first books i ever called my "favorite," and the rest of the series💙 i feel like this book is incredibly relevant right now, and i'm far less familiar with the rest of the series, so it's thrilling to re-read. basically, i'm hype
