Haymitch is one of my favorite characters in the Hunger Games series. This is his story. Sad. Funny. Brave. The best dystopian fiction warns us of what can happen to humanity if we don’t keep fighting the good fight, while simultaneously keeping us engaged and entertained. It’s a hard feat that only the best authors are capable of achieving. Suzanne Collins is one of those authors and this is one of those stories.
