Just when I think this book can't get more miserable... it does. Just about every horrible thing humanity can do is in this book. I'm pushing because now I need to know how it ends, but I feel like I need a hug every time a read a bit of it.

I think I'm gonna have to DNF this one. It's just a bit too out there for me. Right now it's in time out.

How did I not read this as a child? I would have loved it. It's just beautiful.
