This book is definitely moving along at a fast pace. The 'ranting' is a bit excessive, but I am sure it will make sense as I move along in the story. Enjoying the story so far ...

Wow, the book has just sucked me in. It reminds me a bit of the movie Inception, just easier to understand lol. Loving the story, the characters, the pace. First time reading this author and its been an enjoyable experience thus far.
Watch this space...

The story itself is keeping me entertained to some degree.

I must say that the dialogue is rather irritating, and I am wondering to myself if this book actually went through an editing process. Glaring issues and even spelling one of the character's names wrong in the same paragraph? Danielle vs Daniella?

I am really struggling to overlook the grammatical errors, words used that do not make sense in the context, and the constant use of names within weak dialogue, to name but a few irritations in this book.

The story itself though is still managing to intrigue me enough to overlook these things, but at this point it is very much touch and go.

The different POV-telling of the story is done well.

So I am 5% into this book, and it definitely has me intrigued. However, I am finding the typos and grammar, quite a few in the first 5%, somewhat irritating. When you have a character, and you spell their name differently on the same page, did this book go through a proof-read?

Thankfully the story has grabbed me, so I am trying to overlook this, let's see how it progresses. Hopefully that will taper off.

As usual the author moves the reader along at a thrill ride minute!

This is book 6 of the Veronica Lee series. I have read all 5, and have also read the Mercy Harbor series.

Loving the fact that the chapters are the dates (usually this confuses me so much), but I can easily check the table of contents and see what in the timeline I am ... brilliant!

Irritated with life ... because things keep happening to interrupt my reading *grrr*

One word ... unputdownable!!

So, I am on Chapter 4, and am finding this book quite interesting so far.

I look forward to reading more, updating as I go along (if I remember lol). The next review you might see, might be the 'I'm finished' review.

Busy with Book 2 of the trilogy - almost done as I'm on Chapter 20 of 30, and as much as I am really enjoying this trilogy, I do need to take a bit of a break though from the story, so will pick this up again in a few days, and read something in between.

This book feels a bit slow to me, but it definitely is enjoyable despite that. Likeable characters, and even though it is a slow-burn type book I want to keep reading.

WOW ... I started this book this morning, and am speeding through it. Definitely keeping me entertained. Already have some ideas about the curse-giver, let me see how my thoughts pan out as I proceed. Loving it so far!!

As always, Melinda starts with a bang and it is full speed ahead.

So, as usual, she starts her books with a bang, hooks you and then you don't want to do anything else except read.

Loving the book so far. This one is a bit slower but the web that the author is weaving is starting to come together.

This book follows on from the first book, so even though it is possible to read as a standalone, it is strongly recommended to read the first book as it will be difficult to follow who Xavier Greyson is if you haven't.

I am 38% done. Should not have started reading it this morning - although it definitely is a positive way to wake up and instead of tossing and turning, read this entertaining story. Loving it so far!
