But I must say this was really fun and lighthearted. The love islandness of it all cracked me up. It is shady to me in mystery books when the narrator leaves out huge key details so they can bomb drop on us at the end but c’est la vieeeee

I’d say only 36 hours have passed in this so far but it’s felt more like months

This book and the next have definitely been my top runners for this series. For some reason the characters feel the need to repeat basically word for word something they talked about like 5 chapters ago like we’d forget the most basic info about them but whatever. Cole and Willa were on their self improvement journeys and were some of the least annoying about their issues… but I won’t call anyone out

This one was better than the first. I’ll say that. I was honestly just going to skip all of these and go to the last book because I was only really interested in Jude but it seems like there’s so much context and information sprinkled throughout all of them relating to the story that I’m just 2x through it
