I absolutely loved this book. It was a magical fairy tale for adults. Set in 1920 Alaska a childless couple make their way to Alaska to make a life for themselves.

Kris Lodwig is starting Artemis Fowl (Artemis Fowl, #1)

I really didn’t like this book. I like books like Harry Potter, so thought I would. Nope. I felt like this story was hard to follow, jumped around too much and I can’t decide if it expected the reader to know more or because it’s geared towards kids it expected the reader to not care to know details. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but bottom line, I’m done with anything Artemis Fowl.

Kris Lodwig is starting My Life in Middlemarch

This is a DNF for me. I thought this book would give me insight on why Middlemarch is considered the greatest English Novel. Nope. Rebecca Mead has read and re-read Middlemarch over the years. Girl, move on! So many books, so little time.
