Cannot get into this. Pretty prose and boring story. Abandoned at 20% after a month.

I thought this would be fun to read as it’s about a family quarantining together during Christmas, but “Seven Days of Us” is taking way more than seven days to get through. :/

Throwing in the towel on old Claudius halfway through. I just don’t have the attention span for all of these wars with the Germans and missing eagles and intermarrying family members.

Seems like a good time to read a book about house arrest.

Not sure about this one. The writing seems very on the level of a Sweet Valley High. Does it get better?

Found myself picking up this old favorite for the first time in decades and falling back into it. I can’t seem to put it down. Strange to read it as an adult and remember so many turns of phrase, textures and tastes and descriptions, after all these years.

I'm about halfway through now and it's pretty good but it seems to be a lot more about politics than gender, to my disappointment?

Oof, I dunno.
