My jaw just dropped. Hit. The. Floor. How and why is this book 1,288 pages. 😭 CRIMINAL

After investigating further, despite the author removing and redacting many scenes of abuse throughout the multiple version of this series (WP, Spanish, trad pub, English translation etc)... this is just abusive at its core. There is no redemption arc. Its just portraying an adult abusing a teen and trying to pass it off as a swoony romantic story.

This is such a dense, yet unputdownable read. It's as powerful as it is baffling. To have the curtains drawn back, and the layers slowly peeled away to this degree so smoothly.. truly an educational trip. It makes you pause as you think of the widespread implications of this history of incompetence, and lies the public has CONSTANTLY been told for decades.

I'm embarrassed that it took me this long to realize it's not American football they are playing, it's British football... My brain is broken

The second book left off on a major cliff hanger, BUT THE THIRD BOOK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SECOND BOOK AT ALL 😤

This book is wiiiiiiild! If this book had parents, her mom would be The Handmaid's Tale, and dad Lord of the Flies. That should give you and idea of how weird and messed up this baby is. I don't think there is any hope for a happy ending, and I'm kinda here for it in a twisted kind of way. 🤔

Who actually thinks bread and cheese is some weird foreign greek food that they would be unwilling to try because it looks weird??

Emphasis on, this lady lacks intelligence and common sense of all sorts.

I really hate to judge someones life, and maybe this person learned how to actually deal with children eventually..

But again. Not really sure how someone could be so unintelligent in their decisions, or so clueless as how to deal with a child..yet all the while trying to explain to the reader "how teens need boundaries" and "kids cut themselves to help them deal with emotions" like we are the dumbies..
