DNF, absolutely could not stand the MFC and she is the voice of the book. I don’t have time to read books I don’t like.

Just a warning. Having read the prior books, I’m aware there have been death and horrible situations. But having had a recent traumatic loss in my own family, there was a very big loss in this book and I don’t know if I can continue it currently. I’ll give it a rest for now.

A publicist that doesn’t understand publicity? Seriously? This is really bad.

Full disclosure, I got this book for free. Unfortunately, it’s horrible. The premise is interesting, but the story is so poorly written that it’s distracting to try to make sense of it. The language is strange, totally inhuman manners of speech.No contractions,which is always strange in conversation. And people don’t seem to know what their jobs are. And the writer has a horrible concept of baseball practices.

I’m sorry, this book desperately needs editing and rewriting, it’s repetitive, difficult to discern what POV is happening and just full of annoying characters. I like the main characters, but their story is just getting overlong and frustrating. I’m going to continue the books, but there are long portions of this book that I’m easily skimming because it’s just drunken banter.
