It feels very great finally being able to be up to date and now reading the most recent installment of DCC, hot off the presses for many of us!

300 pages almost to the dot before I’m caught up in time. Will I make it? Let’s find out

Now that I know I’m almost for sure gonna be able to catch up by the time book 8 comes out I’ve been able to take my foot off the gas for how fast I’ve been reading through DCC, this edition has been great as per usual. I’m curious how I’d feel about other LitRPG entries

In the process and journey of getting collecting and getting the entire series in print I forgot that this series and namely the later books would be a pain in the ass to carry in a backpack when traveling.

That said, great entry thus far

Always good to be back in the DCC universe, though after a few heavier books it’s both strange and refreshing to have a nice change of pace. Already liking the set up of this floor better than book 3.

Approaching the end of this book is like knowing your best friend is moving away in grade school and it’s sad to know that era of your friendship is coming to an end and nothing you can do can stop it.

Chapter 58. That’s all.

A lot of book left, but hard to think of another book that will be Lonesome Dove’s equal in my mind when all is said and done and I finally reach the end.

Truly magnificent. I’ve felt every emotion you could. Truly a magnificent story I have found myself in.

A lot of good progress after a weekend travelling with no reading done. I’m loving the book, great cast of characters incredible setting, the fist 1/4 felt like this one great set up in how everyone interacts with each other and then throws them into the rest of the story. It’s shocking how quickly every character has begun to feel fully realized. Truly hooked now

Slower going than I’d like, this is a very good book, but also it likes taking its time. It’s not like the previous book I read where I felt like things are just slow for the hell if it, this feels well done and not something that was just added in without thinking. Makes for a really enjoyable experience.

Before passing out tonight I managed to get the first 2 chapters in. Too early to say certainly but what little I’ve gleamed and learned about the already colorful characters of the Hat Creek Cattle Company has been great. Looking forward to giving this some more dedicated time tomorrow and this weekend to really sink my teeth in.

Overall this book thus far has gripped me enough to continue the series, multiple people said the middle portions of the book were their least favorite and honestly this feels like the fist part where the story has actual momentum. The moment Had goes into the Colloso the whole story changes for the better.

Setting some good foundations for a good finish and series. Though the first entry is largely plagued with a lot of characters that come and go as frequently as the time changes for the man character
