<3 Ahh

I am in love with this book. I can relate to Sydney on a hundred levels, and overall I just adore her. It has made me teary, angry and fearful. It's made me feel hope and happiness and made me laugh. I don't usually read contemporary - but I am so glad that I am reading this. It's so beautiful

Layla is my favorite thing. Probably one of my favorite characters ever too..

I don't usually read contemporary, so here we go!

Pain. Chapter 32 brings the most emotional pain. You have been warned.. :'(

It's so refreshing to read about a protagonist with villainous qualities. And the story is so good. The POV is standing out a lot to me, because of the nature of the story. It's really great.

Libraries are a magical thing, and I don't think I could be reading as much as I have been without them

I can't even describe my excitement that this day is here at last!

So far I feel Finn's emotions as if they are all my own. Evidence that this book could move mountains in me.

One thing I ADORE about Khoury is her 'waste-no-time' writing style. She has a magical way of weaving the beautiful world building with the plot development so that they both move quickly and neither gets exhausting. This is no different!

I am enjoying this so far. It's really not something I could see anyone liking. Courtney, the main character, strikes me as cynical but philosophical in a teen-angst kind of way. And I adore that about her. The writing style is interesting. Very laid back, but images and ideas are still painted well enough to enjoy. Interesting book overall. But definitely enjoying thus far. :3

This book. Avery is quite possibly my favorite character ever. She's strong willed, stubborn, and devoted. I cannot express the feelings I have for her. Maybe spoilers coming! Beware! The romance blooms so beautifully in this book. She feels the warm tingly sensations, and then later on, in a GORGEOUS burst of poetic writing she comes to the realization that she loves him. Perfection

Plot twist happened, cracked a little hole in my heart. Strange men in bars tend to be dangerous people, but this one.. Intrigues me..

Part 1 finished! I am enjoying this full-on now! The pace is wonderful, and the romance is developing nice and steady. Not too fast, could be slower but the happens of now seem fitting and satisfying. Can't wait to keep reading!

The first 2-3 chapters took a bit of effort to get through. Maybe because of the unfamiliarity of the authors writing style, or maybe because I haven't read a book for fun in a couple of months. However, now it's beginning to pick up, and I am very much enjoying myself. :)
