It’s one delicious YA book. And I don’t often enjoy YA. What else can I say? Give this one a try.

The MCs are fantastic together and apart. Rennet is charismatic and confident and flirtatious. Easy to love and both MCs are keeping secrets from the reader. Not so much untruthful protagonists as conveniently holding back details from the reader due to first person.
Trope spotted at 22%: Renner’s last name has been merged with the Royal family’s name as a tag of ownership. He feels it a loss of identity.

Picked it back up, but am choosing to DNF due to a conflict of worldview.

I laughed out loud at how relatable the apathy and who-cares attitudes of the Martians is about human visiting from earth.

Started audiobook this morning. Saw the film trilogy earlier this year and wanted to experience the real McCoy.

He paused, shaking his head. “But those corrupt political parties are what control everything back on Earth. At least in my government and many others on the planet. The global elites that run them will come together and ensure it is a puppet of theirs that fills the seat. About as far as you can come from someone who will actually have the citizens of Earth’s interests at heart.”

Political intrigue and royal family dynamics and drama is on point!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This book is very encouraging and easy to follow via audio.

Dipped into this one and then life happened. Will return asap.

Man, I love this book. So engaging and somehow cozy… kind of like Red Rising when You have no idea how bad the next books are gonna hurt.

Colton is wrestling with the weight of potentially being the Son of the Prophets and the responsibility that comes with it. This story develops slowly but beautifully. I love how it takes its time.

A slow build SciFi that is engaging and relatable. Loving it!

This romantasy has me HOOKED!

A fun piratey, New Orleans adventure for Halloween or a road trip.
I’m 50% in and unfortunately there is a lot of repetition about Lafitte’s need to find the jewels and break the curse, but not enough revealing of new details concerning the curse and how to break it. While the MCs are both adorable, I am struggling to care about the curse a wee bit. However the story is still fun.

Many have said this story was not a favorite from the series. But I have loved it thus far.

I’m really enjoying this book. Sure, it doesn’t show a lot of Darrow so far, but I love Mustang and Lysander’s povs.
