This book is all over the place. It’s fast moving, for sure, but nothing is truly thought through or explained fully. Great potential and it has kept my interest, just not my favorite execution of these tropes.

Actual enemies, an interesting magic system, and individual people rather than people that solely revolve around each other. Huge fan so far!
