This is one of the more helpful books on spirited children I have read. Her grasp of “what is going on” is astounding. However, the implementation of “how to improve” is not as easy to implement and will require some study and re-reading.

I love Donald Miller’s writing style. His self deprecating humor and his playful style made this an enjoyable, but not life changing, book.

Noah shares an insight into his life growing up so adeptly that you feel like you were there to witness the adventures. He and his mother are survivors because they succeeded in focusing on love and humor over their trials and circumstances.

This book was obviously teen fiction, but I enjoyed the colorful worlds L’Engle created.

I loved the charming little village created so beautifully by the author and wanted so badly to meet the characters and befriend them.
