I would have enjoyed this in my teens. Now the scatter brained female lead and narration that is intended to shock you constantly bugs me.

I am at a conference in Liverpool and the book I brought is boring. Luckily reddit suggested this book and it was available as an ebook on my library app. Sounds cosy and fits well with today's sunny weather

Its been a long time since I picked up a book randomly without reading reviews. This book is special to me for another reason as well that I picked it up from beautiful second hand shop in Inverness. I have high hopes

I love everything to do with Cathbad. Amusing in a deep way.

So far I am really enjoying reading this , much better than book 2 in this series

I feel like I am in the deep ocean watching this scene unfold in front of my eyes.

For me the best part of reading this book is that every single one of these characters are flawed.

Very interesting so far. I am really enjoying the writing.

The more I read about the paranoia , passivity phenomenon, labile mood , aggression the more I am convinced that this person is experiencing a likely first episode psychosis with high chance of progressing to schizophrenia.

Something about the narration feels like how AI would imagine human beings reaction.

Terrible idea to start this at night when my home seems to having random noises.
