'Afterparty' is really relatable as it discusses the effect of peer pressure. It also describes how easily one may get sidetracked. The overall message that I received from reading this book is that it is important to have your own opinions and have a strong willpower. The author clearly conveys the effect of popularity on high school students, as the characters put themselves in unknown and risky situations.

This book is really relatable. Miranda talks to her "younger self" and tells all these funny stories, like the time she thought Kanye West was the name of a train station! If you have seen the show Miranda, you'll realise that she actually is playing herself, and she is no different to the character. Can't wait to finish it!!

Up to pg 61. This is a good book. It is a love story about an astronaut who is flying to the Moon,and his wife. It's mostly about the wife, Sunny. She was born during a solar eclipse and this changed her whole life.
