The writing style is wonderful, carries you on along like a strong current, but tbh I hate all the characters. Once I start reading it's hard to stop, but I never feel much inclined to pick it up. It's not a world I'm in a hurry to get back to. And ok, I'm not very far along but good lord, it feels like I've read hundred and hundreds of pages.

This is so interesting! Walt Disney's original plan for EPCOT was... something else (An actual functioning city of 20,000 people). I might look up one of the books just about Epcot after I finish this.

When I first started this book, I wasn't sure it was for me. Now, I CAN'T STOP READING IT. I am almost physically incapable of putting it down. I am reading while writing this.

"If a man ordered a beer milkshake, he thought, he'd better do it in a town where he wasn't known." This book is so great I can't believe I haven't read it before.

I feel so much less creeped out about Doc's now if I think about Doc being the one haunting it. And I think he'd approve of his lab being a nightclub. :D

So Chapter 9 turns out to be a play about Alexander Hamilton's parents. I JUST. How weird is it that I put this book down for years at this spot and only picked it up now?
