I love being back in this world and reading about these characters. I am once again torn between wanting to devour and finish the books that are available to me and wanting to take my time and savour them so that I can enjoy the characters for longer (and not have to wait so long between the last available book and the next release.)

Oh wow this is getting so interesting. Even though I still have just under 50 pages to go I can tell that this book is going to end on a cliff-hanger. I can feel everything building and now knowing that this is not a stand-alone, it's going to be wild ending that leaves us gobsmacked and desperate for the next instalment.

Im hoping to be able to finish this today. Will I? Pretty good chance the answer is no but I’m gonna give it a crack. It is getting better but I have to admit the pacing - plot feels off and I’m sadly not in-love with this yet.

I’m not feeling the spark 😭 This is supposed to be able to be read as a standalone but I feel like I’m missing so much information and I don’t want to go back to read book one.

I was nervous for this after trying to start the Court of Ravens duet but this book is something else entirely. Grim and gritty? Yes but Liv Zander has done something brilliant with writing this story and creating this world that makes your skin crawl but has you raptured. I’m so curious to see where this leads.

I'm actually still so in love with this book. I just wish I could spend all my time reading this book.

Less then 100 pages in and I have already full body sobbed with tears streaming down my face
