Whew!

The opening words of this book by Toni Morrison backhanded the writer in me. There will never be a valid excuse for me to delay my writing again. None except death itself.

Ahhh, the pleasure of reading a literary work written with both an esteemed level of intelligence and a sense of the common man. This is good, good stuff!

Back to a regular schedule of reading. 🤓📖

This is an incredibly hard read for me. The mere thought of someone uttering the words that black people should “get over slavery already” angers me beyond words.

Whew! Good stuff.

Finally, FINALLY sitting and doing the one thing that I love just as much as I do writing and that's reading. It's been a long, hard couple of years, but there's been a shift, and I'm falling back into habits I love.

This book is soooo good!

I'm back on schedule with my reading. Life sure can manhandle you. 😒
