Ugh just hit the part where Gregor is maybe the chosen one. Here I was reading along having a good time when BAM an overused trope appeared. Drat.

The author couldn’t be arsed to get upwind and downwind straight. The editor apparently doesn’t bother. The pacing is bad. The details are pointless. The excuses for the story are idiotic. (why the ever loving are they In a school at all? Why don’t the Cullens live on Ibiza and sleep all day and stay up all night... where that would be normal?) How do you get past that? This school BS is just...no.

Chapter 1. Unreliable narrator in terrible straits. I like unreliable narrators and am intrigued.

Chapter 2. The dark humor is actually landing. This book might be hilarious.
