The beginning started kind of weird, like a movie that shows the end first then rewinds to the time before and tells the story. I wasn't a fan of that but I'm enjoying it so far

This one has been pretty dark. I've enjoyed listening to the story unfold. There are some graphic scenes this far, going along with this though I appreciate Ariel N. Anderson's take on the trauma of the victim(s). So many books especially dark romance books have some traumatic events and the characters seem to bounce back quickly. Ariel takes the time to dive into the trauma & show a more realistic portrayal.

Cautiously optimistic. I want to read this one so bad but I'm terrified it's going to mess with my emotions. But I feel like it's been a while since I read the Ravenhood series so I'm due for one.

I picked this one out because I had read it had more of a darker edge. It's interesting so far and has already had some 'cameos' of Georgie & Vektal & Liz, so that's been fun 😊
