I appreciate Doerr's lurid descriptions of things as a blind girl. The character development is astounding. I can't wait to tear through this book and gradually being more aware of the things around me.

Michaela S. is on page 40 of 477 of For the Win
After 40 pages—We meet the characters, (or some of them) and not one description of their appearances. They're gamers, and they're amazing at their games of choice. The first two chapters are jam-packed with action. We're presented with three conflicts, one for each character. Basically, they get moolah in games. As far as I know.

Okay, it took me a looooong time to move myself farther. I find this pretty wordy which translates into skimming— I don't like skimming. So yeah. Thumbs down. Sorry.

Stave II. So far so good. I think it's just me because I find the narrative funny? If you like ghost stories with a little bit drama, so far, I would recommend this. Anyway, I'm seeing why this was a classic—I'm liking its writing style.

I'm on Chapter 3 (Huts on the Beach) and my feelings that are on fire on the past chapter subsided a lil bit. Now, I have ideas on where this story is going to. The writing style is (I agree) SUPERB. It's immensely written, but on the other hand, Lord of The Flies is a medium for starters. You'll ought to have a dictionary around.

Michaela S. is finished with Never Let Me Go
FINAL VERDICT: 4.7 stars Wow, This is a great book. I love how it lets my mind wander first before releasing the major plot point. Never Let Me Go is beautifully written and not cliché. I liked those wth moments—but on the other hand, Some details aren't necessary and boring.

Okay, finished part 2 and let me tell you, THIS PART IS SO BORING. It took me nearly a week trying to finish this. I miss the mysteries and the deep darkness in Part 1. All I got is the damn cottage, annoying Ruth, and veterans. Thankfully, in chapter fifteen, things started to turn around. It unveiled some of the mysteries and got some of Tommy and Kathy's "friendship"❤️ however in chapter 17, Bitch ruth. Nuff said

Tbh, I get bored by books that require one chapter at a time so I am most likely to not finish this book. (Sorry Bo) But I like its content so don't worry I'll strive to finish it.

I just finished Part 1. The more I go through the book, the more I love it. I quite enjoy the mystery and darkness of it. It is beautifully written yet I agree to that one comment— it says that this book is cold. So far, I'm looking forward to finishing this book.
