It’s cute so far, a quick read!

Neat read so far, feels like how one of those great American novels feel. Maybe it’s the honesty that it portrays that gives it that feeling. I’ll update more soon.

So far, Blake has expressed his incredible ability to paint a scene in even just the first story of this book. I’m excited to continue when I have more time.

It’s immediately captivating

The first half was sorta poorly written imo, but this second half is neat and really starting to pick up.

It’s good, it’s just not keeping my interest too well. I’m not dying to keep it open. Though it’s interesting for sure.

Pretty good. A little lengthy at points, sometimes drives the point home too hard. But thorough and honest. He says what I want to hear and how I want it said. Even in 1998, he’s the liberal mastermind I wish we had today.

I’m not sure I’ll finish this. I just don’t think I’m very interested in where this is going, it feels like it won’t surprise me.

It’s so fricken good

Yurp still good, but I wish he didn’t repeat himself so much. Sometimes I feel that he treats us like babies and he hates doing it, but I also know it’s so that he can reach a wider audience by doing this.

It’s great! Gave up on it one time, glad I’m reading through it now.

Still very good love everything about it, not much wrong with it.

Good! The sex scenes are wild and the whole island thing was not the best written part of the book. Cool emotional stuff though.

Last chapter was kinda boring but I like the idea of the newspaper thing.

That first sex scene, bonkers. The writing makes my heart so happy.

He did have that one about the “proud to be a dyke” that was a funny fiction piece I liked. But his real life ones are better.

Got distracted, still like it!

I like the ones about his life more than anything cause the other ones are a little too zany. However, that is something I should consider in my own writing is making something zany first and then rewriting it with more depth. That would probably be beneficial.
