I am contemplating not reading any further. How can Harper take the death of a character that gutted me so deep I remember Zeke vividly 8 years later and make it a lie?

DNF. Got through the first 5 chapters, barely. Didn't like the writing style or the character. Not worth suffering through 492 pages to see if it got better.

I was loving this book and thought it was going to be a 5 star read. Except Brett's constant "babe" "gorgeous" "sexy" comments to Jesse an hour into their first date is annoying me almost as much as Jesse's immaturity.

A bit annoyed at the twitter conversations. Maybe it is going to have something to do with the plot or main characters but not knowing who is sending the tweets is frustrating and distracting from the momentum of the story.

This is so cliche, I can clearly see what's coming I don't even think I need to finish the book.

I'm struggling with all these 5 star reviews because so far all I've gotten out of this book is Brooke looks at Remy and she's turned on.

So the blurb starts with "For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You". I should have listened because I feel like I've already read this book it's so unoriginal. Going to give it a few more chapters to see if it finds it's own story before I give up.

Reaping Angels gets a 3 star from me. The begining had me worried I was going to be in for a cheesey story but it changed my mind quickly. Well written with enough detail and alot of action.

not sure I'm going to stick with this one, I'm already just skimming the pages.

Now I want to shake Ingela until her teeth crack together, what a hypocrite! Cameron should have cut his losses a long time ago.

Oh my gosh I have never wanted to punch a fictional character in the head so badly! This is good writing because it is wringing some serious frustration out of me.

Well obviously I stuck with this. It did get better but I still don't care for either of the main characters and the story gets good then bad again consistantly. I'm not sure I'll want to continue to book 2.

I'm going to give this a few more chapters before I decide if I am finishing this or not. Julia is an annoying little mouse and Gabriel is a complete self righteous asshole. I understand that is how I am suppose to see them but it's making me not care what happens between them.

And I am reminded at what a selfish bitch Kiera was in Thoughtless....

Now this is how you write a damn book! No slow pace dragging me to get into the story, I was fully invested by the second chapter and have already hit some big plot points less than halfway through and the story is picking up and moving where it needs to go.

After quite a long time I have finally been talked into giving this story a chance to redeem itself. I loved Christian by the end of the first book for all he was willing to do to give Ana the relationship she wanted and I am still loving him for all his efforts so far in this book. That being said I hated Ana by the end of the first book and am finding her whiney and immature so far in this book.

I'm close to giving up on this one. Cage is a dick, Calla is unbelievable, and this instant love is ridiculous. Not even sure I can take the jumping all over writing style....

So there seems to be a problem somewhere. Every description says this book is 303 pages, so as I approached page 290 and was not near an ending of the story I started panicking "cliffhanger crap!" but my paperwhite is telling me I still have over 30% left in the book! I am now at the beginning of chapter 23, page number reads 305, shows 68% finished. See why I'm confused?

So I finally know Devons big secret and it's an awful thing but not worth the build up of over half the book to get to. So we now have actual dialogue between the characters which is a relief but it took so long I don't really care about any of them or what's going to happen between them.

I'm bored. This story isn't going anywhere and the constant metioning of Devons terrible secret is annoying because there is no hint to what it is.

aaaaand I called it!

this is a pretty boring story so far and I can already tell what the ending is going to be for Ricky, Trent, Harley and Jason.
