Holy lawrd this book is *FIRE*

I’m bored. Nothing is happening in this book. NOTHING.

Oh my gosh I love this book.

This book is annoying. I can’t put it down.

“It was like she spent ninety-nine percent of her time walking around in a black-and-white world, and then when he kissed her, colors bled into her vision like a painting.”

I feel like I’m reading a lot of mediocre books lately….

They are captivating enough, just slightly boring and vanilla. I need some spice.

Ugh, I keep picking up “slow burns” at least this is written well enough that I dont want to put it down.

“Detroit wasn’t burning but my heart was starting to, licks of flames that threatened to one day consuming me.”

This reads like a memoir and very much reminds me of Almost Famous

The characters are interesting enough for me to keep reading. I want to say her writing is a lot like Kristen Ashley, which is a compliment to most, just not my cup of tea.

I’m kinda bored….this is reading more like a whiney/angsty YA…

He nudges my face, Making me open my eyes and look into his.
“We’re all ugly, Ryen. The only difference is, some hide it and some wear it.”

I swear to God, Tessa Bailey is fucking brilliant. One of the very few authors that can make a kiss sweltering HAWT while waiting for my car to be worked on….Jesus Christ, someone turn on th AC. It’s hot in here….

Not entirely impressed…

I’m at the point of saying “just one more page” I guess this story has me hooked.

I wish I cared more about these characters. Buuuuut I don’t.

How DARE you write a prologue like that Ms. Quinn. HOW DARE YOU!!!

I’m so over this book.

.....and we are introducing yet ANOTHER type of character. Jesus fucking Christ....everything is in this book. Mermaids, sea creatures, shape shifters, different worlds, Kings, spirit things that take souls....and the list GOES ON.... *rolls eyes*

It’s like...peculiar children meets Harry Potter meets Star Wars meets Captain Hook.


Seriously, what the hell is going on?!?
