Well written & I’m enjoying the plot so far. It doesn’t seem like your typical time travel book.

It’s a good read so far.

The book is intreguing so far. The characters are good & I'm wanting to know more about them.

Sad that the author, in the chapter on literature goes for the movie version of why Louis became a vampire & not the book version. That was one of the things that bothered me the most about the movie. It was his religious brother that died. Louis didn't have a wife & child. Even a look on Wikipedia would show you the real synopsis of the book.

Kind of a reference book on vampires. I'm on the 6th chapter. It has chapters on vampiric type legends from different cultures, everything from Romanian to Japanese to Norse mythology. It has a chapter on the ways they feed, the ways they are made, bands that have songs about vampires. I'm using it as reference for my own writing & am finding it quite useful so far.

This book is great so far. I'm loving our female lead so far. It's anything but the typical love at first sight. More like contempt, with some underlying attraction. He's the suave ladies man, who's basically had every girl but the new ones, our heroine & her roomie & has his sites on her. He's trying to play a game & not only is she not falling for it, she's beating him at it.

I'm liking this book. I was checking out the reviews on here & it seems to be a love it or hate it book. I'm loving it.

A very different book so far. I've never read one with a Día de Los Muertos theme before & it's really interesting. I thought it'd be a good choice for the Read-a-thon 2015 book & I'm not disappointed.
