After letting this book sitting on my tbr for a while, I think it's time.

By this time I feel like something wrong is going on in this communion. Get Out movie kind of vibe.

I'm not impressed with the heroine:

“You know those girls who refuse to smile or laugh at anything, who are born with a silver spoon in their arse?”
“It’s the arse with this one. Walks around with a sense of entitlement that they think they’ve somehow earned because they are so goddamn serious about life? Well, that’s her. I bet she doesn’t even need to wear glasses, she just wears them to try and look smart.”

i've seen quite a lot of bad review about this book and the personality of Celaena that was supposed to be tough like 'notorious killer' should be. and i can see it why people give negative comments about it. Celaena feels like a spoiled brats with no fierceness of a killer at all.
