While engaging, the story is not all there so far. I can see how he's lining up things and illustrating how easily someone can be seduced by the right but it feels somewhat out of sync with reality. Maybe it's because it was written before the pandemic and before we knew just how bad things could really get.

I'm probably lacking the background in German philosophy and specifically Schopenhauer to really understand exactly what he's getting at so far

Not enjoying it so far. It feels like a modernized Atlas Shrugged for casual environmentalists with short attention spans.

I'm not really interested in memoirs but it's better than I've expected so far.
