Reading some classic Daredevil from the Frank Miller days. It's on sale at Amazon right now, probably due to the success of the Netflix series.

The kyo are inbound. Everyone's in a tizzy. Plot is finally breaking loose.

The stage is set. Bren's on his way to the station. Bad guys still off-stage.

Setup is a bit slow, but there's a lot of foreshadowing that needs to be done.

Chapter 1 starts the book off just right. Top-flight writing so far.

I've always liked Tanya Huff. Her early work is surprisingly good stuff. I'm enjoying it so far.

In the home stretch on this trilogy.

I keep falling asleep listening to this chapter. About my fifth time through it. Maybe tonight is my night to avoid narrator-induced coma.

I like re-reading this book so far, but the lack of faith his friends have in Richard's instincts is a plot device that will only grow thinner (and become more annoying) as this trilogy continues.

Am really enjoying the re-read, and I like the audio narrator too.
