It looks like all decent people are going to die

For as long as I knew about Achilles tragic fate, I thought about it in a “gone too soon” way.

However, The Iliad portrays it differently, after the death of Patroclus, Achilles didn’t want to live, the “curse” is kind of a mercy?? His suffering will inevitably end (and soon).

I knew Patroclus would die

But I had no idea what would happen before and after the death.

I’m excited to have the mysteries revealed because so far it’s very entertaining but also a bit confusing

I can’t say I’m a big fan of the fighting chapters (I prefer the scheming and the council chapters)
The descriptions of the war is very vivid and vibrant.

Head over heels in love with this novel
