I’m more familiar with the characters now so hopefully this will continue to get better now that I’m used to the accents. I do wonder where it’s going though. I have to keep reminding myself this takes place in the 1980s lol.

This is off to a good start. I just have so many audios checked out now. I hope I can get to all of them before they’re due!

Finally, I’m getting used to the accents! Even though there are different voice actors for each POV, I’m having some difficulty keeping track of who is who. We’ll see how this one turns out.

Well an arrest was made so wonder what the remaining will be. I wonder how it will come to a head and if there will be even more books in this series!

Now that the book is almost at its climax, it’s taking its time. It could just be I’m really tired & not focused enough. I’m eager to see how everything comes to a head.

Oh this one is so good!! I want to keep reading but work in the morning.

I want all these storylines to come together. And I wasn’t the only one that was confused by the Gaston character. I’m eager to see how this plays out.

Glad to be slightly more than halfway through it! I really wonder how this will all come to a head. I’m excited to read more but it’ll have to wait until tomorrow because I’m sleepy.

Ok so I’m really confused about why a storyline talking about a shooting at a burger joint came up halfway through the main storyline. I’m sure Penny will piece it all together, but it’s making me feel like I’m missing something.

I'm eager to see where this all will lead. I see some pieces coming together. I'm really liking this return to form for the series.

This is still really good! I’d like to finish it soon!

Interesting to learn the history of Miss Wolcott and am curious about who placed the call from Clara's home. I'm eager to see how this one unfolds!

Dang, I did not see that big twist coming! It's really good; I'm so excited to finish it!

Alfred Molina is doing a great job narrating this one, although my favorite narrator for this series is probably still Robert Bathurst. He did Ruth & Rosa the most justice 😂. I’m enjoying this return to form for the Gamache series after the insane-ness that was books 19 & 20.

I have a feeling this will be one heck of a finale! I’m eager to finish this one mainly so I can see how it all comes together.

I have less than 30 minutes of it to go! I’ve really really enjoyed this audiobook! I guess I’ll put a hold on the second one now because there’ll probably be a wait on Libby. I think I have a sense of all of the characters.

I want to finish this one soon! I’m enjoying the first installment in the series. Eager to see how it ends.

This continues to be really good! I’m eager to see how all of the pieces come together.

I have no idea where this one is headed, but dang is it WILD! I feel like this is an original take on a thriller with the sister relationship, savannah setting, and attackers (both animal and human). I'm so excited to see where it goes!

Stil enjoying this one! It may take me a bit to get a handle on all of the characters but I feel by the end it'll all come together.

Got a lot of listening in driving to and from an event for work! I’m really enjoying this one! I love finding series to listen to!

This has gotten really really good! I’m eager to see how the mysteries develop!

I’m already making some progress! I’m enjoying it so far!

I’m intrigued so far. I hope some action starts soon! Looks like we’re about to go into a flashback!

I’m still enjoying this one. It’s so sad how Alzheimer’s affects families.

I wonder what the final big twist will be. It’s taken some interesting turns. The voice actor is fine but not extraordinary.

This isn’t the best but it’s definitely lighter than my last listen! I expect to get through this pretty quick!

I need this book to be over. Like I get that it’s covering all of high school but there are just so many instances of the same thing. I keep reading spoilers so I know actual progress is made by the FMC. Like it’s really well written & a very important topic, it’s just too much for me.

Well we’ve made it to senior year. It’s so sad to see how the trauma of rape has affected the FMC. She really needs help. I did spoil the ending for myself but I just want to get there. This is a heavy and difficult listen. But should be required reading.

This is really good! I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
