I’m really enjoying this one! Makes for a good shower audiobook. I didn’t want to turn it off. I really love January LaVoy as a narrator.

Oh I like how the title of the book was tied in with a scene & how it fits with the whole of the book! I’m really wondering how it’ll end…

I got a lot of listening done today in the car! I can’t believe this is almost done! I’m finding this to be a powerful story. I like it better than The Midnight Library I think, although that could be because of James Norton’s narration. I haven’t cried yet but I wonder how it will end!

Gotta love some people’s reactions to life stressors. Need money? Kill someone so you’ll get everything they have. Goodness. Like that’s not an average person’s response. Like seen in many movies & shows & books some people were already unhinged, they just needed the right spark to set them off. Eager to see if these two will…get away with murder. 😂

Loving this story and James Norton’s narration. I have a feeling this book is going to make me cry at some point but in the best way.

So I’m two-thirds of the way through this book and I’m not getting all the hate for it. Granted I have a high tolerance for explicit content but I’m finding this book completely addictive. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This took a thrilling, unexpected turn, in a good way! The blurbs on the cover are right. It is really addictive!

I feel like this book is darker than the first one featuring these characters. It's good, but I may just not be in the mood for it. I'm eager to move on to other audiobooks.

This book is well done; it's just an emotionally heavy topic and I'll be glad when it's done. It took a while to get to the trial but it's there now.

So I’m listening to two audiobooks now and they both feature white supremacists to some extent…I need a palette cleanser listen like a good domestic suspense thriller or romance or something…

This has kept my attention as an evening listen, especially as I shower and decompress. I do wonder how it will all turn out!

This is a tense read. I have no idea what’s going to happen. There are so many developments. A hard, but necessary listen because these are the times we live in. And of course Viola Davis is phenomenal!

Getting a head start on the September mystery thriller book club pick! I’m really enjoying it so far!

I feel like this is five books in one since each section is a different character’s backstory. It’s like watching the first season of Lost, lol, well not really but iykyk. Overall it’s a short read but not necessarily the fastest read.

This is going to be a really intense read. I don’t think I realized how political this book would be. But it’s an important one! I just hope I can stomach it.

Mrs. Worth’s backstory was so fascinating.

I need to read more of this one because I'm really curious about how disturbing it is.

Damn I wouldn't want to be on Emma's bad side, but it looks like she got her comeuppance with her son. I have no clue where this book is going lol but I'm loving it!

This is my current shower audiobook. So far I'm listening to 7% a night so I should be done just in time before Libby takes it back! I'm enjoying this sequel to The Unraveling of Julia.

Viola Davis is amazing!! I love her voice!

I'm really enjoying J. Smith-Cameron's narration. Loved her in Rectify and Succession. I can't believe this is my first Anne Tyler book and she's a Baltimore based writer; ahh!

I wish the term Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria had been around when I was growing up, or rather I wish I had known I have ADHD when I was growing up, It is so important that books on topics like RSD are out there because they help provide relief for so many people.

Started this book literally six months ago (I think) and am only this far. It's really good but with those page long paragraphs I can read only a little at a time. I may finish this one in like 10 years. We'll see how it goes.
