Mary Catherine is 40% done with The Classic Fairy Tales
This was a great choice for my library, found it for sale on someones table on 14th street near Union Square in New York city. So far I know it has six of the most popular Fairy Tales, then within the chapter it has multicultural versions of those tales as well as criticism. It also has 40 some odd stories by Hans Christian Anderson, Grimm brothers, and Oscar Wilde. {Also a brilliant Anne Sexton Poem on Snow White!}

Interesting story, strained and exhausting mother daughter relationship. I relate to many aspects of that dynamic. Not all of us xan have rainbows and pixie dust for childhood, someof us are expected to be the parent to the parent. Grateful to a fellow woman writet who wrote so openly about that disparate humilation. She grew into a loving,wise and forgiving woman dispite or perhaps because of her unique childhood.

Amazing! Despite Colum McCann's brevity, I found this so much more helpful and relevant then so many of the more lengthy books I have read about the wreiting craft. Highly recommend it to any writer who is just beginning to find there voice , or like me, feared they may have lost it along the way.

BEAUTIFUL. I WISH i COULD AFFORD A PSYCHOLOGIST THAT WAS AS INTELLIGENT AS HIM, ONE THAT FOLLOWED EXISTENTIAL THOUGHT, MECAID WOULD NEVER PAY FOR A REAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST. social WORKERS OR Psychiatrists, that IS ALL YOU CAN HOPE FOR.

On chapter fourteen, Just as good as I anticipated after reading The Testing, this sequal picks me up right where it left me and back to Tosu City where whoever survived the seven stages of war, accessed the damage and began to mend the broken and heal the sickly earth, The center of it all, the world began again. I wish I was not almost done, but I love the world she has created from ash... and ink. ;)

Mary Catherine is finished with Mars and Venus Starting Over: A Practical Guide for Finding Love Again After a Painful Breakup, Divorce, or the Loss of a Loved One
Mediocre, sub par. More inclined toward helping men, The author adressess men more then women and the title is misleading. Hardly anything on coping with the death of a loved one. However, when the book does address women and the grieving process, Dr. John Gray Phd is very helpful with the insight and advice he provides.
