This is so beautifully written that I'd read a book twice this length just about these guys going fishing, and I hate fishing.

Only a quarter of the way through this and I'm pretty sure it's one of my all-time favourite novels.

I heard the five minute sample for this, and I was so hooked I bought it immediately and put down the half-dozen other things I'm reading to start it at once. Only a third of the way through, but I can already see why it was nominated for a Jackson award. Incredibly detailed and atmospheric.

I really loved this when I read it back in 2012 and I've been meaning to re-read it for a while. Going for the audiobook this time, I like it a lot so far.

I'm enjoying this book, it's above-average for D&D fiction and Wyatt has done well to make the bizarre Eberron setting accessible to readers (like me) who previously knew nothing about it. I keep getting distracted from it, though. I need to stop starting new books and finish some of the ones I'm halfway through.

I misplaced this book for a while and I think I'm going to back up and re-read it over from the beginning. It's very good and extremely detailed and I feel like a long gap would do it a disservice.

This one is a real slog I gotta be honest. This one kinda sucks.
