Really enjoying so far...

This has been...fine. There is so much back story, overexplaining, and recapping here it really drags the story down. Some of the recapping is definitely needed because this world has gotten so complex, but a lot of it feels like fluff to me and could have been edited out. I just feel like this series is dragging on and on.

I am enjoying this so far. Great world-building and an intriguing main character.
