I am luxuriating in the chapter on nationalism, since it's using Trieste as the counter example!!! As a triestina who has always felt that identity on me when faced with either abstract questions of nationalism (what is a nation indeed!) or more daily questions like "where are you from" (well, I'm Italian by citizenship but kinda Slovenian by ethnicity but my hometown was austro Hungarian for a long time...).
